Tut Tuesday: When I dip, you dip, we dip. ...
Hola! Today I want to talk about strawberries. They’re delicious. They’re pretty. And they’re pretty delicious when dipped in chocolate and such. Now, I know that to some this is such an easy task: dipping the strawberries. But I like to take my time when I dip. It’s an art. And it can be very fun to come up with combos and flavors. I, personally, like the white...

My other full-time job...
Hey friends. It’s monday and I have a couple of hours before I go to work. I thought I would do the right thing and get some pics up of what I spend my time doing these days.
A few years ago, I came across a blog that reignited my love for sewing. The wonderful Katiedid has such amazing talent and she inspires all of her readers with ideas and projects. Sadly, she is not blogging anymore...

The beauty of Craigslist...
Hello! I just have a quick note today. Two nights ago, I was perusing through the craigslist ads and found something that couldn’t possibly be true. A piano. For free. And it’s an antique. It’s a saloon-style and is super tall. We are picking it up tonight and I will have some fresh photos for you tomorrow. Below is a pic from my pinterest that I pinned a few days ago. I was...

knit one, purl two
You guys! Knitting is the most fantastic thing on this side of the Mississippi. It’s a bit difficult to cast on (if you are me), but it gets easier once the knitting starts. And don’t even get me started on purling! I am so excited about this new hobby. You can make some pretty great stuff. My second class is tonight and we will be starting a real project. Probably a scarf. I owe it...

Are you throwing a birthday party?
If not, throw a number party. Because Jordan has the BEST idea. And the BEST tutorial on how to get one, two, three, or more of your own right here. However, they are too lovely that mine may just have to hang somewhere out of reach.
I can’t wait to see what else falls out (pun intended) of her new pinata series! image via ohhappyday

If I could buy a quilting machine, I would.
Okay, today’s quilts are some that are actually in my own home. I love to snuggle up with a big, comfy quilt and a good read. The first quilt shown is one my mother-in-law made for me. One of my favorite colors is green and she made sure to incorporate that shade all over this little baby. It has some nice minky fabric on the back and that makes this blanket SOOOOOO soft and cozy.

Do you like to sew? Do you like to quilt? I am obsessed. And it’s amazeballs!
